Patient Vaughan takes King’s Cup win and British Gravel title.
Jacob Vaughan became the 2022 British Gravel champion after an outstanding race at the King’s Cup on Saturday. The Saint Piran rider was perfectly positioned when he came to the final corner, emerging from a wheel to open his sprint and win by a clear margin.
A race of two winners - Keep takes the win and Shrosbree the British Gravel Champions title.
It was double success in the King’s Cup Senior women’s race on Saturday. Tiffany Kemp won the race, but home rider Danni Shrosbree won the national title, finishing a very close second to the South African woman.
STAGE 3 – FAST, FLAT, FURIOUS FINALE TO RAIDERS.
The first edition of Raiders Gravel presented by Canyon finished on a high with a flatter, faster stage around the Galloway Forest Park and some huge smiling faces.
